About the Program:

Techstars Startup Weekend Tbilisi, co-organized by Startup Georgia and Techstars, was a high-energy, 54-hour event that united Georgia’s most promising innovators. Spanning from December 16-18, 2022, this engaging event allowed participants to experience what it’s like to think, work, and build like a startup. The weekend, hosted at GITA TechPark and the Parliament of Georgia, was a powerhouse of creativity and collaboration, where participants pitched ideas, formed teams, built solutions, and presented their startups to a panel of industry experts.

Event Launch

Selected Startup teams embarked on their journey of growth and innovation, supported by a diverse and experienced pool of mentors committed to guiding them every step of the way.

Day 1: Forming Teams

On the first day, participants pitched their ideas, voted on the most promising concepts, and formed teams around these ideas. With support from Techstars mentors and expert facilitators, teams quickly assembled and prepared to tackle the challenges ahead.

Day 2: Building Solutions:

Day two was dedicated to transforming ideas into tangible solutions. Participants immersed themselves in hands-on learning, practicing innovative methodologies, and refining their prototypes.

Day 3: pitching day

The final day culminated in a demo session at the Parliament of Georgia, where teams showcased their startups to a panel of judges from the business and Techstars networks. This demo session was a testament to the participants' hard work and creativity, highlighting the innovative spirit of Georgian entrepreneurs.

Winners:

After three intense days of building, the final event took place, where two startups emerged victorious from among the many teams at Techstars Startup Weekend Tbilisi 2022. Both winners were awarded digital perks valued at 50,000 GEL.
