Partner(s): USAID Agriculture Program, Seedstars, GITA

Target Group: Female and youth startup founders from Eastern Georgia (including Tbilisi and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions)

About the Program: With the support of the USAID Agriculture Program, Startup Georgia implemented an acceleration program focused on female and youth startup founders. This acceleration program was designed based on recommendations from the international accelerator Seedstars. It provided a unique opportunity for local startups to work with leading mentors (who had experience creating global, scalable solutions) and develop their projects and operations.

The active engagement of Seedstars in the Georgian ecosystem was another win for diversifying quality entrepreneurial education.

Target Audience:

Georgian startup and tech community, women and youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, university students and school pupils.

Result/Impact:

Sector development, implementation of technological innovations, motivation of youth, and equipping them with the necessary skills, practical education, and knowledge to continue working in the sector.

📍In the scope of the acceleration program, along with many other activities, the following was conducted:

A 48-hour intensive training by the international accelerator Seedstars on improving business and sustainability, attracting investments, and presentation skills.

A training on branding and customer communication by Brianna Quintero, a mentor from the Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys.
