Meet Alexander Nemsadze Co-Founder at Signify
What is your company doing?
Signify is an eSignature and contracting platform to manage the full document lifecycle process including initiation, negotiation, workflow, signing, executing and archival. It transforms the traditional way that the vast majority of businesses use to sign legally binding documents today, by covering a broad quantity of use cases. We enable businesses to be more cost effective, eco-friendly, modern, fast, and safe. Check more at https://signify.ge/en/
Why is now the best time for your startup to exist?
Even as there are some giant players like DocuSign, global market penetration for eSignatures and digital contracting is still less than 3%. COVID-19 pandemics and more adoption of remote working culture also increases need for digital contracting. Process of digitizing contracting is inevitable in the upcoming years.
What motivates you to get out of bed in the morning?
Feeling that each day is a time for new accomplishments and achievements, you have to be fast and productive or you are out of competition.
Tell us what is the best and worst thing about being a startup founder?
The best thing is that your focus is concentrated on one software product and how to make it perfect for your clients. The worst thing is that you really need luck to raise funds while being a startup.
What fuels your team?
I think our fast progress is a motivator for the whole team as well as feeling that every team member is a big contributor to the overall success. Our platform has an exceptional NPS score among our clients, which is also a very pleasing and fuels us with energy.
Where do you find your inspiration?
Inspiration comes from the energy of my family, from the beauty of the nature and the feeling that everything is possible.
Who is your favorite investor? and why?
I don’t have one.
If you were an investor, who would you invest in?
I would invest in startups that have founders that have in one way or another already proved to be doers. I think the best teams gather around the best doers.
Your favourite Georgian start-up and why so?
I don’t have a favourite, but I like the acquisition story of Pulsar AI as it was the first precedent in the history of Georgia. I like startups that managed to be selected by prominent accelerators like Payze and Theneo. Kernel tools and Identomat are also doing quite well abroad. I wish best of luck and success to all Georgian startups.
What would you change if you had a magic wand in your daily life?
If it comes to magic, I would make intergalactic teleports a thing of the present to travel to different parts of our unimaginably huge universe.
