As part of the Startup America Partnership, a national network of startup communities, Startup Georgia is an entrepreneur-led, statewide initiative to celebrate Georgia’s entrepreneurial community.

We promote the importance of startups as innovators and job creators, and help startups gain access to the relationships and knowledge they need to succeed.

What is the Startup America Partnership?

Launched at the White House in January 2011, the Startup America Partnership supports a national network of startup communities, by way of providing access to relationships, opportunities, and knowledge. While the Administration is a key partner, the program receives no federal money. The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the Case Foundation provided initial funding, and corporate sponsors include American Airlines, American Express OPEN, Dell Inc., Intuit Inc., NYSE Euronext, and Microsoft.

As an individual, you can join the national organization by registering on the website.

As a region, Georgia is moving towards launching our own chapter in early 2013. Sign up for our mailing list, and follow us on Twitter and Facebook to stay up to date and involved!
